- Basil J. Musnuff - Shareholder

       Basil is a Shareholder attorney with Thacker Martinsek.  Basil's practice is focused primarily in the areas of products liability defense, national discovery counsel coordination, national litigation counsel coordination and general litigation defense.  He has a wide range of experience defending suits against tire manufacturers and manufacturers of industrial machines, manufacturing equipment, as well as pharmaceuticals, appliances, garments, and other consumer products.  In addition, he has experience in toxic tort litigation including asbestos and benzene exposure.

      Basil comes to Thacker Martinsek from Roetzel & Andress LPA, where he was a Partner for nine years.  He is also a former Assistant Attorney General for the State of Ohio and practiced for a number of years at Jones Day.  He was a Law Clerk for the Honorable Harold M. Fong, U.S. District Court, District of Hawaii (1989-1990).

      Basil graduated magna cum laude and with the Order of the Coif from Cornell Law School, where he was a member and editor of the Law Review, and with honors from Haverford College.  In addition, he carries an AV-rating with Martindale-Hubbell.
