- Christine E. Mayle - Of Counsel
Christine focuses her practice primarily in complex civil litigation. Her experience includes a broad range of commercial disputes including contracts, indemnity, insurance coverage, unfair business practices, covenants not-to-compete, trade secrets, fraud, and other business-related torts. She also has experience in product liability and legal malpractice defense. Christine has litigated in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels. She also has experience arbitrating commercial disputes in privately-held arbitrations, and has practiced before the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris, France.
Before joining Thacker Martinsek LPA in 2011, Christine practiced with Cooper & Walinski, LPA (now Cooper & Kowalski, LLP) in Toledo, Ohio for six years, and was a litigation associate with Dewey Ballantine LLP (now Dewey & Leboeuf LLP) in New York, New York for four years.
Christine received a Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude from Providence College in 1998. She received a law degree cum laude from Notre Dame Law School in 2001, where she was Managing Editor of the Journal of College and University Law. While in law school, Christine participated in a summer study program at the Notre Dame London Law Centre in London, England.

Pro Bono Activities:
Christine has assisted the Pro Bono Legal Services Program of the Toledo Bar Association by representing victims of domestic violence at civil protection order hearings in Domestic Relations Court. In 2006, Christine received a Pro Bono Award from the TBA in recognition of her work in this area.
